Airports and getting into town

Taxis from the stands at each terminal and Grab rides reach Marina Bay or Orchard Road in roughly 20 to 30 minutes. Contactless bank cards work on the MRT and buses.
Best time to visit
Singapore is hot and humid all year, with frequent short, heavy showers. February to April tends to be drier and sunnier, while the northeast monsoon makes December and January the wettest months. Chinese New Year (January or February) brings lights and markets to Chinatown, and the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix night race takes over Marina Bay in the fall.
