Scoot is the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, based at Singapore Changi and flying across Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
Scoot overview
Scoot was established by Singapore Airlines in 2011 and began flying in June 2012. It later merged with sister low-cost carrier Tiger Airways, and operates under the Scoot brand as a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. Its fleet of roughly 60 or more aircraft includes Boeing 787 Dreamliners for longer routes, Airbus A320-family aircraft and Embraer E190-E2s for shorter regional flights.
From its hub at Singapore Changi, Scoot serves destinations across Southeast Asia, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India and Australia. Its 787s also fly to Europe, with nonstop services to Athens and Vienna, and to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Scoot flights earn KrisFlyer miles, Singapore Airlines' frequent-flyer programme.

Scoot cancellation policy
What happens when you cancel a Scoot ticket depends on the fare rules attached to it, which you see before booking. Tickets bought for travel to or from the US generally allow a free cancellation within 24 hours of booking when the flight is at least seven days away; after that, flexible fares may be refundable and others may convert to credit or be non-refundable.
