Porter Airlines was founded in 2006 and built its early network with De Havilland Dash 8-400 turboprops from Toronto's Billy Bishop City Airport. Since 2023 it has expanded fast with Embraer E195-E2 jets, adding bases at Toronto Pearson, Ottawa, Montreal and other Canadian cities. It has a joint venture with Air Transat.
Porter's fleet is roughly 80 or more aircraft, split between Dash 8-400s and a growing number of E195-E2s, with more E2s on order. It markets an "elevated economy" with no middle seats and complimentary beer and wine served in glassware. Its network covers Canada plus many US cities, and it has added Caribbean and Mexican leisure routes.

Where Porter Airlines flies
