Fiji Airways traces its origins to 1947 and is the national airline of Fiji. It is majority-owned by the Government of Fiji, with the Fiji National Provident Fund, Qantas and Air New Zealand as other shareholders. It joined oneworld as a Connect member and became a full member of the alliance on 1 April 2025. Its regional subsidiary, Fiji Link, operates domestic and short regional flights.
The airline operates a mainline fleet of roughly 14 aircraft, including Airbus A350-900s and A330s for long-haul routes and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft for shorter flights. From its hub at Nadi it serves Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Island nations, North America (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver and Honolulu) and Asia (Hong Kong, Tokyo Narita and Singapore).
